houston, we have a lint problem.

January 3, 2011

has anyone ever told you that baby alpaca pompoms shed like crazy?

because they do. ALOT. like, unnaturally alot. like, so much that you think there shouldn’t be any pompom left.

and how do i know this? i had to make 4 2.5 in pompoms out of baby alpaca yesterday while i was wearing black leggings. i wish i had a picture. it was pretty good.

but, with all that lint, we finally have finished, wrapped christmas presents for my friends. but who wants descriptions when you can have pictures?

for A: A Luxe Cowl in Malabrigo Rasta in Solis

for R: a 5th Avenue Infinity Scarf in Malabrigo Rasta in Azules

for M: a Thorpe Hat in Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Grande in Black and Malabrigo Silky Merino in Dill

for J: a Huaraz with no earflaps in Misti Alpaca Chunky in light grey and Malabrigo Silky Merino in Nocturnal

and for me šŸ˜‰ my effortless cardigan is only missing the collar

(its a bit scrunched because the cable i’m using isn’t long enough for the whole collar to stretch out)

and a close up of the sleeve (and the gorgeous stitch definition madelinetosh has)

its a blocking party!

the next post will most likely (and hopefully) have a blocking effortless cardigan!
